Can Christians Eat or Drink Blood? Yes, Christians can eat and drink blood. The command not to eat or drink blood was given prior to Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and giving us a new covenant by which we live and are set free. But we were given the symbol of the Holy blood and bread which was a Holy Communion. But we can not eat or drink blood in its life blood, It will be demanded. “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being. Genesis 9:4-5
Romans 14:19-23 is also important verses
Romans 14:19-23 are also....
Good question, it's good we can talk about this issue. I think we all are called to do two things:1) Live in love and respect each other either we eat all food, or don't do that because of our conscience. 2) We are called to walk by faith, what we believe is right "One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them." Romans 14:2, 3
Yes have restrictions to eat food. We can't eat everything. We can't eat which prohibited to eat in the Bible. If anyone can eat Pig so why he not eat Dog and Donkey etc..
Dear friend,Of course I wouldn’t want to eat dog,but in the bible there is no restriction for that. ( Acts10:11-16) 🐶
Why don’t you like to eat a cute little dog Sis Lena? 😃 Jesus said: ”Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.(Matt. 15:11)
Sorry, that was a reply to br. Mikael
In apostel Paul’s letter to the congregation in Colossian he wrote: ”Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink.......”(Col. 2:16-17)
It doesn't mean we can eat Dog..
Beloved Michael!I always like you and your kingdom work. Feel pleasure to do work with KKC
Yes brother, and also of course 1 Corinthians 10:23-26. Let’s pray that the Holy Communion will remain alive also during this corona period😷👑😷 🙏👆🔥👆🙏
Hej Mikael! May God bless🔥you and your blog and let a lot of good people write there! Blessings,Lena 🤗
Yes, you are right Sis. Lena. In John 6:53-54 we can read that we must eat and drink the meat/blood of Jesus Christ. The communion is a symbol for that, where the bread is His meat and the wine His blood ”Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you”(John 6:53, KJV)
Yes, in Acts 15:20 we read:"Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood."
Sister Emma,Do you also think that we should avoid drinking/eating blood since the blood is the life of all flesh? (Leviticus 17:11,14)
Brother MikaelI have often wondered about Leviticus 17:11, 14 These words also tell me not to eat/drink blood... Like "bloodpalt", which some people from North of Sweden eat, but me and my family don't eat "bloodpalt"... Only plain Pitepalt, and Pitepalt have'nt blood in it. ..
